spring 2021
Preliminary research and diagramming done on the Substrate Factory Ayase in Japan, designed by Aki Hamada Architects. Findings were applied to the design of the Urban Institute.
Analytical diagramming created to study the layout and design of the Substrate Factory Ayase, designed by Aki Hamada Architects. Findings about the sliding wall mechanism and adjustable levels of permeability to the street were applied to the design of the Urban Institute.
